So that the BrJP may continue improving, both from the ethical and scientific points of view, another adjustment is being introduced at the beginning of this year, aiming at the indexing in other platforms.
The Editorial Board is now composed of the Editor and the Co-Editors, who, starting this year, will assume part of the Editor’s tasks, as they will be responsible for following up the review of the articles and, together with the Editor, accept the article for publication or reject it, not without first informing the authors of the reasons, and encouraging them to produce texts of better quality.
With this adjustment, the Coeditors are free to invite professionals from various areas of healthcare to review the articles, provided that the reviewers have the expertise to perform the arduous task of carefully reading and evaluating the texts submitted by the authors, who are always anxiously awaiting for the positive response, i.e., that their article will be published in BrJP.
The AOP publishing modality introduced last year has contributed greatly to the rapid dissemination of articles published in BrJP, allowing the results to be accessed early by the scientific community and consequently be cited more quickly.

Para continuar aprimorando o BrJP, tanto do ponto de vista ético como científico, mais uma adequação está sendo introduzida neste início de ano, visando a indexação em outras plataformas.
O Conselho Editorial passa a ser constituído pelo Editor e os Coeditores, que a partir deste ano assumem parte das tarefas do Editor, pois caberá a eles acompanharem a revisão dos artigos e junto ao Editor aceitar o artigo para a publicação ou então rejeitá-lo, não sem antes informar aos autores os motivos, e estimulando-os a produzirem textos com melhor qualidade.
Com essa adequação, os Coeditores têm a liberdade de convidar profissionais das mais variadas áreas da saúde para fazerem as revisões dos artigos, desde que os revisores tenham expertise para desempenhar a árdua tarefa de ler e avaliar com cuidado e critério os textos submetidos pelos autores, que sempre esperam com ansiedade a resposta positiva, ou seja, que seu artigo seja publicado no BrJP.
A modalidade de publicação AOP introduzida no ano passado tem contribuído bastante para a rápida divulgação dos artigos publicados no BrJP, permitindo que os resultados sejam acessados precocemente pela comunidade científica e consequentemente sejam mais rapidamente citados.
