BrJP follows the Editorial Policy Statements of the Council of Science Editors (CSE). All article submissions are reviewed for integrity and originality by the Editor-in-Chief. When an Editor is on the list of authors or has any other competing interest regarding a specific manuscript, another member of the Editorial Board will be assigned to oversee the peer review. When an Editor is on the list of authors or has any other competing interest in relation to a specific manuscript, another member of the Editorial Board will be assigned to oversee the peer review. Editors will consider the peer-reviewed reports when making a decision, but will not be bound by the opinions or recommendations contained therein. A concern raised by a single reviewer or by the Editor himself may result in the manuscript being rejected. Authors receive peer review reports with the editorial decision on their manuscript. The journal does not charge authors for submitting articles. All articles are available in open access.
